Local Now addon won't open if build is installed

I like to use the "Local Now" addon from MetalChris's repo to watch local news, but...
The thing won't open, it just sits with the wallpaper showing and only the back button works.
Strangely, Local Now will fully load if no build is installed.

Yea, the addon must not be defining a content type, so the skin doesnt know how to display it, search local now in addons and install the guide and use that.
