I have a Nvidia shield with xenon build. I am using real debrid for my premium service, I have had this going for years. I have always got plenty of working 4k links.

Recently I got a new samsung qled tv now I only get 1080p links to show up, I was using a LG tv before. I have went in and turned on the hdmi ports HDR settings on, but I still cant get any 4kinks on this new TV. Any ideas?

The only change made was going from lg tv to samsung.

Did you check the addon(s) you are using and make sure they are set to 4k?

I went into the xenon settings and checked there. Is there another place other than there?

You need to check in the Playback settings of the addons you use they may be set for 1080 click on that to change to 4k

Yes as JeanMow said. I believe Umbrella is set at 1080 and needs to be changed in the setting of the addon.

Fen Lite i believe is set at 4k.

I went in and checked the setting, it is set to the highest resolution and HDR is enabled. What doesn't make since to me is that it had links on the LG tv.

You need to check the ADDON (Fen Lite, Umbrella etc) setting that you are using inside of the build. NOT the Build setting and NOT your streaming device setting.

Good. I knew it wasnt the tv as I have a brand new Samsung tv without the issue.

I always used umbrella, I have never tried Fen.
