FireTV Vegas OS sideloading Kodi

But Kodi works on other OSs. Will it continue to work on Android Firesticks, or will they shut that down?

Too late. People have already made up their minds. They probably found some major issues with Vega. 5 and 7 year old Nvidia Shields are still working better than new Fire Sticks.
