Diggz keeps slowing down as tike goes by

First off, I love this build. I've been using Kodi with different builds for the last 10 years give or take and this one is by far the best.
This is probably a new question but I didn't see it in that section.
When I first load up Digzz from my android box, the load up tike is slow but I don't mind tha. When it eventually all loads up, everything is super fast. Menus open quickly and movies or TV shows are the same. The issue is as tike goes on, it starts slowly down where eventually it will take 5 plus minutes to load any menu and I end up going back to the android interface and force stopping Kodi and clearing the cash and starting it up again. I have to do this at least once a day, maybe more.
Any there any settings I could tweak to fix this or would this just be a hardware issue. My TV box isn't anything special. Paid $70bfor it on Amazon. I'm running Diggz Xenon 2.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

I have always recommended a device reboot ( unplug count to 20 plug back in ) at least once a month. I even do it with my Shield and I have very few problems , its worth a try

I would start by removing menus or widgets you dont need. I personally disable some sections and widgets that I dont really need on the main menu. Theres a disable button right under Xenon to do this, or go into skin settings. I also disable 4K because 1080 is just fine. Of course your box is gonna be the #1 factor on how well things run. Builds are setup for a wide variety of streaming needs, most people dont need or use everything, so simply remove what you dont use. Widgets are the worst offender, get rid of the ones you dont need first.

I close all background apps and clean their Cache before opening Kodi.
