Shield 9.2 Experience

Is it safe to upgrade to Shield 9.2 Experience?

I installed the 9.2 Experience last night. It took about 10 minutes. No issues noticed.

Auro3D is the same, before and after the upgrade. The Artist Connection app only sends audio as PCM and my receiver does not auto recognize the file as Auro3D. It recognizes it as Multi Channel and Multi Channel 7.1 for Auro3D 13.1 content. I downloaded MKV files encoded with Auro3D and was able to play them on VLC from the Shield. However, when passthrough is enabled in VLC, my receiver recognizes the signal it as DTS HD + Neural:X. With passthrough disabled it is recognized as PCM and plays as Multi Channel. I am able to manually change the sound setting on the receiver to Auro 3D but that is not a true experience. :cry

If anyone needs me to test out anything specific with the 9.2 Experience, let me know. :b

Not kodi related but I updated mine and now the xfinity Rogers or Shaw (in Canada) streaming app can't cast to the Shield anymore.. I might assume it's the same for xfinity Comcast in the States?

I don't use Xfinity cast, but I see several others complaining. Have you managed to resolve this?

No resolution that I've come across. I've even tried a few 3rd party casting apps on the shield with no success. No xfinity streaming app updates either.

unable to play since update is there any fixes
