Chef Wizard 24 vs 486

Post by dennisw »

Hello Mayne,

Let me start by saying thank you for the awesome amount of work that you have put into this project.

It is heart warming that there are still people out there willing to sacrifice their time, sweat and what have you for no profit whatsoever.

My post is not a complaint but a clarification as i have seen a couple of times that people should make sure that they have the 486 version of the wizard.

Now I have 3 builds, 1 on a mini pc using windows 11 and 2 on my Nvidia shield pro though 1 is a fork

On the mini pc and Kodi the chef wizard that was installed was 24 while on the fork it is 486.

Is there a reason for this and is there a vast difference if at all between the 2 as right now I am not really having build issues just some minor add on issues that have nothing to do with which version of build I have installed?

TMdb helper was misbehaving today so had to use a previous version of Hooty for it to work but like I said that has nothing to do with the build.

is the 24 version due to where I installed Kodi from or does it not matter and will not matter in the future please?

The Diggz Repo is 24, the wizard is 486. Two different things..
